I rekindled my love of Television without Pity’s coverage of 7th Heaven episodes this weekend. It’s amazing that a television show could be that bad — and TWOP was there to heckle it every step of the way.

Tippy had seven seizures on Saturday night, and then she had one at 4 am on Monday morning, and again at 9 am… we took her in and will be starting her on potassium bromide — along with the all the other meds. Poor Tip! At least we’ve gotten her back in the crate training habit. She doesn’t even seem to hate it.

This weekend has been crazy — old friends in town, a bunch of shows, blowing insulation, a four-hour seizure from Tippy at 3:30 this morning…

The weird portholes you have to drill to fit the insulation blower into the wall.

I was HOPING that insulating would be like having backpacks of cotton candy that we blow at each other. It’s not really like that.

Our back yard looks like a junk yard right now. That’s ok.

I caved and got an iPod for a price I couldn’t refuse. I’ve been stuffing it with music, but Tip got ahold of it and programmed her own playlist:

Why don’t you rise me up?

…so far tonight. I’m exhausted — it’s 2:30 in the morning and I still don’t think she’s quite right yet. On her last one, I was rushing her to the back door and somehow she started spasming right by the basement steps and fell all the way to the bottom. Ugh.

Now we’re in the process of pulling the siding off the house. One side done, three to go!

Tip had two seizures on Saturday — one in the bathtub while I was trying to clean her up from her first one. Poor girl. I treated her afterwards with a little bit of ice cream, then a walk over to the dog park.

We have a really insane amount of raspberries from the back yard right now. I’ve already frozen three bags of them for future treats.

Today is my last day of being a 20-something.

It really kicked in strong for Tippy today. While in Wisconsin today, Tippy took some “free-range” liberties and tried to cavort with some horses. We think her cattle dog was shining though… trying to herd the two horses, who weren’t having it. But I think she had a blast.
